“Text Tree” – Carol Rosalind Smith

Text Tree is a digital collage created from layers of photographs. It examines the skeletal structure of trees, particularly the way branch and root form a network similar to that of social media, the orange used for the text being the color of increased socialisation.





CR Smith is a student of Fine Art at the University of Kent, UK. She splits her time between art and writing. Her stories and poetry have been published both online and in print. Her artwork has appeared in Calamus Journal, Hypnopomp Magazine, Flash Frontier, Green Light Literary Journal and is upcoming in Moonchild Magazine.
