My first cultural encounter in Granada—apart from food and language—was the work of a local graffiti artist named Raúl Ruiz, known as El Niño de las Pinturas. His art really moved me. I used to walk all over town looking for his pieces. Not only the big ones, but also the small hidden gems, like this boy’s fading face in the Realejo neighborhood.
