“Midnight Owl” – Carol Rosalind Smith


Midnight Owl is a digital collage created from the textures of feather and tree bark. It relates to philosophy and Hegel’s thought that the owl of wisdom flies only at midnight, with yellow being the colour of enlightenment.





CR Smith is a student of Fine Art at the University of Kent, UK. She splits her time between art and writing. Her stories and poetry have been published both online and in print. Her artwork has appeared in Calamus Journal, Hypnopomp Magazine, Flash Frontier, Green Light Literary Journal and is upcoming in Moonchild Magazine.
